Xcel Energy AC training class

Come learn about Xcel Energy’s 2010 AC program.   
Monday,  April 19, 2010  - 8:00am – Noon 

What you’ll learn at this FREE class:

  • The refrigerant cycle (mass flow rate for air and refrigerant) and the relationship between compressor capacity, coil capacity, air flow, charge, and the metering device
  • System design and diagnostics, including causes of high or low superheat and subcooling
  • Why the order of installation makes a difference
  • Current and future ACCA installation standards
  • What’s new with the Xcel Energy AC program for 2010*
  • What’s needed to get Xcel Energy rebates*

You don’t need to have NATE certification to attend this class, although this course is approved for 4 hours of NATE recertification credit (3142-0010).  If you install AC systems, you’ll be glad you came!

Dave has been involved in the development of several ACCA technical guideline projects, including the ANSI/ACCA 5 QI-2007 HVAC Quality Installation Specification.  He holds memberships in several industry professional organizations, and serves on numerous HVAC advisory councils for multiple institutions in Nebraska.  Dave did the AC QI training here last May.
